Although the massive creator, Warner Bros., has rooted its grounds as a successful franchise, it is set to release another spinoff of The Conjuring movie as The Nun 2 in September next year. The Nun was released in 2018 on September 7th, focusing on the evil entity asValak, who was seen first in the second part of The Conjuring.

After releasing in 2018, The Nun became a super hit with a remarkable viewership score and achieved a $53.8 million opening record. Not only this, but the movie later made a gross of $365.6 million worldwide, becoming a big hit scorer in horror movies. Soon after a certain time lapse, the film lost its score on Rotten Tomatoes and CinemaScore compared to other Conjuring series.

The Nun follows a story of a priest who was murdered, and an evil entity started following her death to Sister Irene after she interacts with her again after the first case with the evil spirit, The Valak. The director, Michele Chaves, has completed shooting for the film and will soon release the teaser to fans. Though Warner Bros. has some delays in premiering upcoming movies like “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” and “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.”

They are taking five years to film a sequel movie; Warner Bros. production seems to bring something exciting again on the screen for their viewers to enjoy after The Nun was released. The initially announced date for the movie’s release is September 8th, 2021, which makes it perfectly 5 years between both films. The Conjuring Universe will launch this movie long after the last release, “The Conjuring: The Devil made me do it.”

It is confirmed through sources that The Nun 2 will appear on the screens in September next year, probably a week after “The Equalizer 3,” which will also release after 5 years. The release shot in the opening days of the month will help the movie to revive its fans and kickstart a new fall season with the latest series of horror movies.
